WASHINGTON, July 28 (HalliburtonWatch.org) -- The Army awarded Halliburton $5 million as part of a $54 million firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide all resources and management necessary to plan for, establish, maintain, and dismantle base camp and remote site operations in support of contingency operations. Performance location will be determined with each delivery order, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2011. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 66 bids solicited on Sept. 29, 2003, and three bids were received. The Army Transatlantic Programs Center, Winchester, Va., is the contracting activity (W912ER-05-D-0003).

Awardee: Kellogg Brown & Root Services, Inc., 2415 Crystal Drive, Suite 300, Arlington, VA 22202. Award was made to KBRSI on 6/21/05. The award was protested and a Stop Work order was issued. Based on GAO recommendations resulting from a sustained protest, revised proposals were re-evaluated. It is determined that KBRSI proposal was the best value to the Govt therefore the Stop Work Order is lifted. Awarded $211431974 on 2006/07/26
