BAGHDAD, June 16 (Summary of Reuters Article) - All oil exports from Iraq's southern ports were halted after saboteurs bombed oil pipeline routes between the Basra and Khor al-Amaya oil terminals. Sabotage had already stopped exports via the northern pipeline to Turkey. Prior to the attacks, Iraq was exporting 1.6 million barrels of oil per day. Repairing the oil terminals will take at least a week. Iraq is losing $60 million per day from the loss in oil exports.
